Turned out, I found the CORRECT MAC address for my nic, on the device driver software, and thus entered it into the modem configurater, and voila, it worked!

Yeah! Now to see if I can transfer that file across wirelessly...

As you all read, I fixed the video driver on my main computer that now fixes the wake up issue upon both monitors so when I tap the space bar, it awakens like it should.
